We have experienced a problem with our statement processing and not all statements were sent out at the same time. We apologize for the inconvenience and delay. The remaining statements will be sent out next week. However, anyone needing a copy of their statement can do so at either branch location.

Many of our members have received telephone calls recently attempting to obtain debit card information on the pretense that their cards have been suspended. No one from Blackstone River Federal Credit Union will ever ask for your card number. We ask that you never give any personal information to anyone over the phone. This is a scam that is involving many Rhode Island financial institutions. If you receive a telephone call of this nature, please hang up. Heartbleed Virus Update
The Credit Union has been in touch with our online banking provider and they have taken the necessary steps to upgrade their system. They have done some due diligence and have not found any issues or evidence of this virus.
To be on the safe side we recommend you change your password to the online banking system. The steps to do so are below:
*Log into the home banking platform
*Select the Self Service Tab
*Under the Security Information Box select Change Security Code
*Enter a new Security Code
**NOTE: The security code must be between 8-16 characters with at least 2 alphabetic and 2 numeric characters.

GOING OUT OF THE COUNTRY?
To any member who plans on going OUT of the country for vacation or business and plan to use their Debit Card, please notify the Credit Union so that we can program your card to allow foreign transactions. Currently, the Credit Union does not allow foreign transactions to process without member notification. Please call the Credit Union if you have any questions.
